Finally new muffler

Finally got my new dual tip muffler hooked up! Looks great, and much better than the huge rice burner I had on earlier. Noticibly quiter than my older muffler, and looks much cleaner.

And of course, I love taking pictures of my car.

Fixed Rubbing problem, lowering

Thanks a lot for the comments. I managed to get rid of the rubbing, my front left tire was sticking out considerably and was rubbing on the right turns. It turns out the camber was horribly misaligned. My friend who owns Kindred Motorsports was able to help me adjust the camber to 0 on the front two wheels. Now the rubbing is mainly gone, except for when I turn the steering completely to the left or the right. But, for the most part the rubbing is almost gone, with the 195/60/14 tires there not much I can do at this point, but I'm satisfied. My rear two tires still have to be replaced before I push the car on the corners and the mountains.

One thing that has always bothered me was the ride height on a stock AE82 seems excessively high, especially with the 13" wheels that the car comes equipped with. Ever since lowering my AE82, I feel a noticible improvement in handling and definately looks better in my opinion.

New Muffler

I'm finally getting rid of the huge exhaust.

In exchange for a dual tip, my current muffler is just way too loud. Not to mention, it attracts too much unwanted attention. The new muffler which I will be receiving soon is from MRC, and is only 30-35% louder than stock muffler. Also the look is almost more clean. Can't wait.

Breakin it in

I took the car out for a spin, since the Weber and the MSD ignition system is still new. I'm in the process of breaking them in, however there is white exhaust gases coming from the muffler. This indicates a lean mixture, however @ 3000+ RPM a slight black smoke appears, the engine happily screams up to 6000 RPM. With the tuning to the Weber and the vaccumm advance hooked up I can now go WOT and the car responds very well.

New Rims

New Rims were added, they are Starform 14inch , Japanese rims. Current tire size is 195-60-14, however there is minor rubbing due to the lowered ride height in my car. I will be switching to 195-55-14 soon, however that will fix the rubbing issues in my car.

Enjoy the pics! And happy new years to everyone.

Front Lip on AE82 Sedan

Hey guys I added a new front lip to my car. The front lip came off a 1987 Cressida and as you can see in the pictures the lip bolts right on. However, the lip itself is a bit long therefore you will have to cut the end, in addition you will have to drill holes at the bottom of your bumper which is not visible once you bolt it on.
